You measure the water level in a pond with a dipstick: you know how high or how low the water is.

The groundwater extraction and groundwater policy permit conditions of the Flemish Government oblige us to know and follow up the groundwater levels of aquifers in boreholes. There is no more dipstick involved here.

The Water Level Measure Unit is a portable signaling device (visual and acoustic), for accurately gauging the water level in a drilled sump. The WLMU is equipped with 200m of cable with scale divisions, a 16mm diameter, 120mm long bi-polar probe and a reel reel. The WLMU works with a standard 9 volt battery that is included free of charge. Marked metric numbering on the cable sheath makes it possible to read the water surface. The probe immediately gives an acoustic as well as a visual signal by means of an LED light when the water level is reached.

The WLMU is an undeniably handy device that should not be missing in a mechanic's car.
